What educators are saying

I used this as it came. It was a great overview of AI and engaging for students. It made them think and research. The links all worked too!

Description

*NO-PREP! REMOTE LEARNING & G-SUITE FRIENDLY!*

Create an engaging lesson on artificial insemination in livestock reproduction with this no-prep, ready to use resource!

Why you’ll love it:

  • No-prep! Great for sub plans!
  • Editable Google Slides allows you to customize it for your students’ needs! Add info, take out what you don't need, change instructions- all editable!
  • Resources linked right inside this resource guide student through the activity and provide information needed!
  • Explores the the basics of artificial insemination, including important terms, advantages and disadvantages of using this method, how it is performed step-by-step, why producers use it despite arguments against it, and info on becoming an AI Technician!
  • Ready to use today (or in 5 minutes!)! Simply post to your online classroom- the rest is done!
  • Implements literacy practices in the ag classroom!

Note: I purposely did not include "graphic content" that demonstrates artificial insemination. The video* I included shows a diagram of how AI is performed. If you choose to add a different video, you are able to do so in order to best fit your class's needs & maturity. I LOVE the Dirty Jobs episodes showing swine and cattle AI, but they are rather graphic.

*in order for this video to work for your students, you may need to "approve" it on your youtube first as the teacher, depending on your school's filter system. If it does not allow you to do so, you can easily remove the video as well!
