What educators are saying
I have used this resource multiple times and love the sentence stems! It is great for all learning levels because all students need a little nudge sometimes.
Description
Students are often times left without knowing how to begin their argument writing. To help guide your students in citing their evidence and elaborating further, provide them with these "They Say, I Say" templates from Graff, Birkenstein, and Durst, 2012. Equipped with these sentence frames, students will build their argument more eloquently and fully. Great addition to any debate class or criminal justice class that encourages evaluation of argument with proof and evidence.
Foldable brochure-style handout makes it user friendly and more interactive than an ordinary handout. Students select from a menu of optional sentence frames to build their arguments.
