Students analyze powerful visuals that world leaders have relied on to promote themselves. Thereafter, students work within specific guidelines to create propaganda posters that promote the pigs and their power and offer many springboard connections for discussing Orwell's allegory now or later in the text.

Included in this resource:

  • a digital homework assignment that prepares students for the propaganda poster
  • a Google slideshow with some editable slides which contains a dozen strong examples to analyze
  • detailed instructions for posters
