Description

The Code of Hammurabi was comprised of 282 laws. More than 60 of those laws related to agriculture in Ancient Mesopotamia. This Primary Source DBQ provides students the opportunity to read and analyze a representative sample of Hammurabi’s farming and agriculture laws using the US National Archives DBQ Analysis Model.

Then, learn to grow barley as you read and analyze the "Farmer's Instructions," a Primary Source letter from a Mesopotamian farmer to his son.

Everything you need, including Answer Keys, is provided. No additional materials required. Perfect Activity for Stations, Early Finishers, or a Sub.

Documents are provided in PDF and PPT Formats
