Alphabetum Latinum: Alphabet book project

End of the year review project for Latin 1 students. Students, working alone or with a partner, create an alphabet book. Students are given requirements for letters (for example, need to have 2 words that start with A). File includes a project description, a rubric, and examples of what a page should look like.

Designed for the end of the year of a Latin 1 class. Because it is a review before the final exam, I require students to only use words they already know. However, if you wanted to do the project at the same time you are practicing the alphabet or in a Latin 2 class, you could let students look up new words.

Recommendation: Keep the best examples and have them laminated. Now you have your own alphabet set to display in your room!
