Algebra Standards-Based Grading SBG Gradebook - Google Sheet

This ready-to-use standards-based gradebook is available as a Google Sheet so it is ready to go wherever you are! It is pre-populated with CCSS for Algebra 1 (and Algebra 2), all you need to do is add student/teacher names and it is ready to go. Grading using SBG couldn't be easier!

This gradebook is built on SBG scores from 1-4 and a customizable conversion to percentage grades (I have a pre-built logarithmic formula, but you can change it to your own). This is also built for mastery-style assessments, so it allows for inputs of retakes and will take the most recent score into account when calculating grades.

Also included is an intangible tab where you can keep track of students attendance, effort and ability to meet deadlines (or whatever 3 traits you would like) with a score of 1-4 on a weekly basis.

This Google Sheet outputs several visually-appealed, full-color reports for students, parents and administration. First is a Gradebook Report that can be used for easily compiling grades and use for administration. Second is an Overview Report which is fantastic for showing students their overall progress throughout the course along with the intangibles that you fill in along the way. Last is a Standards Report that shows student growth for each standard for all assessments input into the gradebook.

These reports are easily accessible with a dropdown box that will populate with the student names that you input into the main Data tab. After that, just input the assessment scores 1-4 and you are on your way to a full transition to SBG. This is completely customizable to your classroom and a great place to begin or continue your SBG journey!
