Students will dig through the text and respond to comprehension questions and a variety of skill-specific analysis tasks. They can move around with the human plot puzzle, and they can get creative with the character collage project. Then, with the modern and surprisingly real-world connection to your study of Faulkner's "love story" for a paired-text connection, your students will be shocked, awed, and interested for sure!
