Description
This fun cookies song (rhyme, poem) for carpet time is one of my students’ favorites! It works great for a Valentine’s Day, friendship, cooking, or cookiethematic unit. This is a great activity for teaching students to take away and to recognize quantities to 5 or 10. A black and white version is included so that students can create their own 5 little cookies to sing about. This is also a great activity for teaching students to recognize and name different shapes.
To Prep:
Print, cut, and laminate cookies and instructions. I print all the cookies so that I can change out the shapes or use more than 5 for a challenge.
To Play:
