Questions are written in standardized-test format so your students will be confident when taking the real test. With this reading practice test, they’ll become familiar with paired texts for literature, nonfiction text questions, grammar questions, and different question formats.

About The Practice Test

The reading practice test is a total of 14 pages. There are 2 pages of fiction/literature passages and 2 pages of a nonfiction passage (including photos in the text.) The test questions are 8 pages, as well as 2 pages of grammar questions.

  • Passages are written on a fourth grade reading level and includes paired texts for literature and a long informational article with photographs.
  • Literature passages have related topics and themes.
  • Grammar questions with short text that underlines grammar and presents questions below.
