What educators are saying

I love the connection to OG! This resource is so easy to use and keeps everything consistent for my students! I use it for struggling readers and my ELL's. It's amazing!
I love this resource! Thank you for sharing. It is full of spelling for the whole year and it gets parents involved and explains the process to them! I love that students don't just memorize the spellings; they learn the patterns.

Description

Don't just ask students to memorize words for a spelling test! Teach them how to spell. Meaningful spelling practice can be found here.

This product is designed for 3rd Grade, but can be used as needed. This product provides weekly units to establish a spelling curriculum throughout the entire year!

Students respond well to the mixture of focused words, sight words, and sentence dictation. If you are looking for a new spelling sequence that is based on the Orton-Gillingham method this is a great set. The sight words (red words) are largely selected from Dolch Word lists. The sequence is roughly based on "Recipe for Reading," but not exactly aligned.

*Spelling tests include mostly words provided on the study sheet as well as a few new words that match the weekly concept to truly assess understanding of the skill. Tests include isolated spelling practice as well as spelling in context through dictation.
