This STEM Challenge Bundle is easy to follow and each of the 36 challenges come in 3 different options.
They each take about an hour to complete and allow students to problem solve and have fun at the same time!
It follows the STEM process skills and allows students to
ASK, IMAGINE, PLAN & CREATE, IMPROVE, COMMUNICATE, and REFLECT.
Use this for meeting the NGSS standards, or for an extra reward day after a big test or end of unit. The most asked question I received from my students was,
“When are we doing a lab?” A good science and math teacher will let the students explore and discover in a hands-on setting by experiencing project-based learning.
Each challenge comes in three different options:
1. Suggested materials
2. No materials suggested
3. Budget version, for choosing their own materials
Directions Included as well as a materials supply list with a parent letter.
The student sheets are set up for them to self grade, making your job
much easier! Rubric included.
Most of the materials are easy to find and are inexpensive. Photos of STEM challenges are purposely excluded to allow the students to think creatively and freely. There are tons of different options and solutions and it is great to let the students discover those! They always amaze me, let them amaze you too.
