Students will read and learn about the history of resolutions with an informational close reading passage and text dependent questions (with an answer key!)
2023 "What is a Resolution" Original Poem written by ME! :)
Students will be introduced to an original written poem (written by Susie Rios) that will use complex vocabulary that ties well into the meaning behind resolutions and why we make them.
2023 3D TIMES SQUARE BALL Project
Students will have so much fun making their own New Year's Resolution Globe JUST like the one dropped in Times Square on New Year's Eve! Glitter is not required, but fun! ;)
2023 Resolutions Flip Book
Students will write reflective goals on the front of the foldable, making your display jam packed with student writing. Students illustrate on the inside!
2023 Bookmark and Digital Book Collage/Reading Log
Students will LOVE writing down title of books that they wish to read in the upcoming year, as well as designing their bookmarks!
Informational Writing Prompt
