Description

I know how important it is to transition smoothly into the routine of learning for the new year. That's why I've prepared these fantastic January / Winter Non-fiction Reading Comprehension Passages just for you and your students. They're the perfect way to strike the right balance between a reading challenge and winter reading fun. The questions cover a variety of reading skills and are modeled after the types of questions on standardized reading tests.


I have also included measured reading levels for each passage, making it easier for teachers to accommodate to students' various reading levels. The Lexile level ranges from 770 to 1000. The stories are common core aligned and targets vocabulary and comprehension.

Reading topics are highly interested and suitable for winter reading comprehension.
